Musikindustrin skriver sällan om internationella förlagsavtal. Men när Bob Dylan säljer alla sina låträttigheter till Universal Music Publishing får det bli ett undantag.
Avtalet gäller totalt 600 titlar inklusive Blowin’ In The Wind, The Times They Are a-Changin’, Like A Rolling Stone, Lay Lady Lay, Forever Young, Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door, Tangled Up In Blue, Gotta Serve Somebody och Make You Feel My Love.
UMP skriver i ett uttalande: ”The deal is the most significant music publishing agreement this century and one of the most important of all time.”
Bob Dylan kom 2020 med ett av sina mest uppmärksammade album på många år, Rough And Rowdy Ways, och blev som bekant belönad med Nobelpriset i litteratur 2016.
Dylan har innan detta representerats av Sony/ATV.
